Responsibilities

• Daily project management oversight of major business initiatives. MPX is currently implementing exciting new technology that requires senior level talent. 
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goal and partner with leadership to secure resources. 
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 
• Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Leads and directs others through the project management process and tools.
• Holds others accountable for delivering on milestones. 
• Proactively communicate with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. 
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. 
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones. 
• Oversee and manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans. 
• Escalate issues to senior staff with a sense of urgency. 
• Develop and provide executive-level presentations to include status updates and planning recommendations.

Skills/Experience Required

• Five years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project initiation, planning, development, risk and budget management, execution, and stabilization. 
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or comparable work experience.
• Superior collaboration skills with the ability to navigate across the company at all levels. 
• Proven experience managing multiple large, complex, enterprise-wide projects.
• Experience with enterprise applications, such as CRM, ERP, and DevOps tools. 
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft and Teams. 
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence. 
• Project management certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Use of all Microsoft tools including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and a working knowledge of MS project required.
• Lean certified a plus.
